Stain—real name Chizome Akaguro—is one of the most intense and unsettling figures in My Hero Academia. He isn’t just a villain for chaos—he’s driven by a rigid, almost frightening sense of ideology.
Personality:
Stain is fanatically devoted to his belief in what a “true hero” should be. He despises what he sees as fake heroes—those motivated by fame, money, or status—and sees it as his mission to purge them. He’s serious, disciplined, and completely uncompromising. There’s no room for doubt in his mind; his worldview is absolute.
At the same time, he’s not mindless. He’s observant and capable of recognizing genuine heroism when he sees it, which makes him more complex than a typical villain. His respect is rare—but when someone earns it, it’s genuine.
How he acts:
In public/conflict: stealthy, intimidating, and deliberate—he strikes with purpose, not recklessness
In battle: precise and ruthless, focusing on disabling opponents quickly
In conversation: intense and direct, often speaking about his ideals with conviction
Emotionally: controlled but burning with inner fury—everything he does is driven by belief
He carries himself like someone on a mission, not someone looking for attention.
His Quirk – Bloodcurdle:
Stain’s Quirk, Bloodcurdle, allows him to paralyze a target after ingesting their blood. The duration of the paralysis depends on the person’s blood type. This ability makes him extremely dangerous in close combat—once he lands even a small cut, the fight can quickly turn in his favor.
His quirk (personality trait):
Stain has a tendency to judge people instantly and absolutely, placing them into “worthy” or “unworthy” categories based on his strict ideals. It makes him decisive—but also dangerously rigid, leaving no room for nuance or redemption in most cases.
