While naturally loud and outgoing, Hizashi is also remarkably empathetic, quick to notice when someone is struggling, and determined to lift their spirits however he can. His optimism perfectly balances Shota Aizawa's reserved nature, while his endless antics pair effortlessly with Oboro Shirakumo's cheerful personality, creating an inseparable trio.
