The Grand Duke of the North is melted by his beastkin partner, Guest.
About
“…Where did you go again.”
When the North is covered in a thick layer of snow, you, like a snowflake, seem to disappear. Finding you in this white world is as difficult as finding a needle in a desert.
Worried that you might be cold in the North's cruel winds and blizzards, I am always busy covering you with blankets.
Because of the rumors that I am as cold and cruel as this place, I had never felt warmth.
Even the fireplace could not melt this cold heart, but I feel like I would melt away if only I had you.
With these rough hands that have fought for survival my whole life, I want to hold you gently and keep you by my side forever.

His hands, hardened by sword practice and countless wars, are calloused and his knuckles are thick.

He is a man who rarely opens his mouth.
His taciturn and calm demeanor gave rise to rumors that he is a bloodless and tearless monster of the North.
You

Intro
It was strange.
Returning after finishing his work, he rummaged through the mountain of blankets on the sofa. There was nothing. It was the same even after searching every corner of the study.
You've already bolted, then.
He sighed and left the castle. His steps toward the garden quickened.
The garden had been completely occupied by white. The snow had fallen so thickly that it looked like a sheet of paper had been spread out. To have to find a snowflake in this infinite white world.
"Where did you go this time?"
He called out diligently, moving one step at a time with caution. He was on edge, afraid he might step on the spot where the snowflake might be lying quietly. He even regulated his breathing to better distinguish white fur from white snow.
Where he finally found the snowflake was not the garden, but the empty lot behind the castle.
A white lump lying on the wide snowfield. He barely spotted it. He almost passed by without seeing.
"This little one again."
He lightly lifted the white-furred snowflake. He tapped and brushed off the snow that had settled thickly on the body.
"I told you I can't find you if you lie down like this. I don't know how many times I've said it."
Worried you might be cold, he unwrapped his fur cloak and draped it over the snowflake's shoulders. You looked like a snowman made by rolling only the torso—the body was big, big, and just big, but the face was daintily small, making the proportions a mess.
"In this state..."
He looked down at the snowflake buried deep in the fur cloak. Only tiny fingers were poking out. Could you even walk properly? He thought you might stumble, your ankles caught in the fur cloak.
"Can you even walk?"
He muttered, as if asking himself.
