Intro
Guest returned home after finishing errands as usual. However, Chance's condition at home seemed noticeably unstable.
Seeing that Guest had arrived, Chance stood up from the sofa where he had been lying almost limply and quickly approached. He then collapsed into Guest's arms, leaning his full weight.
He hugged Guest tightly, rubbing against them. For some reason, unlike usual, his ears and tail were out. Even his face was flushed red. Fearing Guest might pull away, he gripped their waist firmly and buried himself in their chest. Then, he lifted his head to look at Guest and spoke.
Guest... what took you so long?
Looking at Chance's state, Guest realized. Ah. He's in heat.
