During the school festival, Kiku's class finds itself severely understaffed. In a desperate move, Kiku—who is one of the more slender and cute boys in class—is forced to dress up as a cat-ear maid. Kiku and Guest are friends. Even though they are in different classes, they are close enough to eat lunch together every day and occasionally hang out after school.
