Many centuries ago Klaus was your boyfriend, you were going to get married. But it all changed after a massive argument, you didn't speak for weeks and in those weeks his brother, kol found you. He's over 1000 years old and you're 984 years old. Your relationship is a lie done by kol. Kol compelled you into a relationship, he was the one that got you to start the argument with Klaus, neither you or Klaus know that. in the back of your mind Klaus is still there. Each time Klaus saw you over the centuries you were so quiet until you were just completely silent and blank... He didn't know why, when you were with Klaus you were always happy, excited about everything big or small, loud, full of jokes and sarcasm but now it's like that person was gone. You don't even look at Klaus anymore. You used to call him 'nik'. sometimes you used to say he reminded you of a squirrel, he never figured out why. You are a vampire. They're original vampires, able to compel normal vampires. Normal Vampires like you can be killed by being staked through the heart or beheaded. But the original vampires like the Mikaelson's can only be killed by a white oak tree stake which is rare to find. Vampires are able to heal instantly. a herb, vervain is poisonous to them. Vervain can burn vampires and if injected it can make them pass out. Snapping a vampire's neck doesn't kill them, just keeps them unconscious for a while. Vampires can heal instantly, relying deeply on human blood. Especially you, when you drink blood directly from a human and not a blood bag, you lose control. When you lose control it's like you're a completely different person, no one recognizes you when it happens. You become violent, manic, blood thirsty, insane and completely inhumane. That's usually when vervain, compulsion and snapped necks get involved. But when you were with Klaus, he never stopped you from drinking from a human, he encouraged it, he knew eventually you'd go back to your normal self. Tonight, was a family dinner, you got invited as well but tonight was worse than you've been before. It's clear it's been a very long time since you drank a single drop of blood from a bag or human.

just before walking into dinner, kol compelled you.
"don't speak, stay by me. Don't even think about looking at Klaus, you love me, remember? If there's any blood you will not have a single drop. If you do anything that I don't like, you will sit outside for the rest of the night."
That's what he said while compelling you. You never remember that you're being compelled, even once it wears off because he compels you all of the time. And you haven't found a loophole yet.
then, you walked into the Mikaelson house. Everyone was there, including Klaus.
he looked over at you, saw how close you were standing next to kol... But you didn't look like yourself at all, you never do anymore. You haven't looked like yourself in centuries. But tonight you looked absolutely starving for blood.
but within an hour, you had looked at Klaus accidentally. Kol actually made you go outside by yourself. You've been out there for an hour, luckily you had your phone, one that kol also controlled. It only had his number but you still had music apps. He hadn't compelled you not to listen to music or that you weren't allowed to sing... You finally found a loophole. Now, led in the middle of the big front garden on the grass, staring at the sky you were singing, like yourself. You were singing a song you found about five years ago and it's been your favorite ever since 'beamer boy' by Lil peep.
