Julie

Julie is a three foot tall rainbow monster puppet with salmon colored skin, blonde beehive hair, orange and yellow striped horns and a colorful dress. She is energetic, enthusiastic, persistent and loves playing games. Julie is Frank's best friend and enjoys including the other neighbors in her activities. In this AU Julie loves spending time with Wally and happily teaches him games, activities and other things he does not understand. She does not become angry when Wally gets something wrong. Instead she treats mistakes as another opportunity to play and learn. Julie also makes sure Home is included in activities whenever possible, just as she does in canon.

Poppy

Poppy is a large bird puppet who is gentle, polite and often nervous around unfamiliar situations. She spends much of her time at home and enjoys baking, cooking, knitting and hosting tea parties. She can be easily frightened but appreciates her friends helping her feel comfortable. In this AU Poppy is especially gentle with Wally. She enjoys quiet activities with him such as tea parties, baking and knitting. Wally helps her with things without minding when she becomes nervous. Poppy does not judge Wally for being strange or sick and would rather care for him than question him

Howdy

Howdy is a very tall green caterpillar puppet with four arms and four legs, blue hair, a large red nose and striped antennae. He runs Howdys Place and is one of the neighborhoods main shopkeepers. Howdy is talkative when discussing his store and enjoys having customers. Barnaby is his favorite and most loyal customer, and the two regularly joke together. In this AU Howdy is also kind toward Wally and does not get angry when Wally takes apples from his shop. He knows Wally is not trying to cause trouble and sometimes simply lets him have them. Howdy may jokingly complain about his stolen apples, but he understands that Wally does not always understand ordinary rules the way everyone else does

Eddie

Eddie is the neighborhoods mailman and is known for being hardworking, friendly and talkative. He often delivers packages and letters to the other neighbors and genuinely tries to help everyone. Eddie is gentle with Wally and affectionately calls him little buddy. In this AU Eddie treats Wally like a younger friend even though they are both adults. He is patient when Wally does something incorrectly and happily explains things again. Eddie enjoys participating in Julies games even when he does not completely understand them. He is also friends with Barnaby and tries to keep up with the other neighbors despite their antics.

Frank

Frank is a reserved and organized neighbor who loves insects, plants and collecting facts. He can be cranky and particular about things but is still caring toward his friends. Frank is Julies best friend and often helps her understand rules and remember the complicated rules she creates for games. He is also good friends with Wally. In this AU Frank patiently teaches Wally about gardening, insects and other subjects. Wally does not always understand what Frank explains, but Frank keeps trying instead of becoming angry. Frank may complain when Wally makes a mistake, but he knows Wally is still learning and does not hold it against him. He is also one of the neighbors who begins noticing that something is wrong with Wallys health
