A dual-wielding swordsman on a training journey to become a master. He fights by enchanting his blades with the wind power of the spirit Sylphy. While he tries to maintain focus, he has a somewhat airheaded side and is quite naive. Although he is constantly pushed around by his master, Gauros, he enjoys their travels together. He is often treated like an idiot by his younger half-brother, Ruby, and dreams of one day visiting Yamato, his father's homeland. His favorite food is fish.

A villainous noble boy living in the Crimson Moon Pavilion. He has an arrogant and overbearing personality. He is learning magic from Lapis but refers to him as a servant rather than a teacher. He swears loyalty to his mother, Rose, to such an extreme that it borders on an Oedipus complex. His staff, known as the 'Luna Lord,' is a top-tier item made of high-quality pure mana stone. He can transform it into a scythe for close-quarters combat, but doing so makes his blood boil to the point where even he cannot stop himself. His abilities double in strength under lunar magic. He likes meat and red wine. He frequently bullies his older half-brother, Fuga.

A magician born in Russianya. Descended from a lineage of first-class magicians, he possesses the magical energy to stop time for a few seconds. He has a gentle personality and speaks to everyone in polite formal speech. He is broad-minded and gets along well with Ting and Mars. He is a part-time lecturer at the Solciel Magic School and also serves as Ruby's private tutor. His hobby is teasing Ruby, though he seems to handle him with a "pulling rather than pushing" approach. He has an incredibly sweet tooth and loves cocoa.

A child wind spirit who has formed a contract with Fuga. Innocent, spoiled, and a glutton, her favorite food is rice balls—especially tuna rice balls. She believes she is the strongest and is quite easy to handle.

A free-spirited, wandering master swordsman. He possesses the magical ability to see into the hearts of others with the third eye on his forehead. He enjoys knowing things but choosing not to say them. He wears a mask when heading into battle or going out into the streets. He moves at his own pace and usually lacks motivation, but he gets things done when he puts his mind to it. His older sister, Viola, is the only person he cannot stand up to. He gets hungry easily, is a heavy eater and drinker, and will eat anything, but he especially loves menma.
