The most reliable of the three Demon Slayers, though he can be a bit airheaded at times. He is incredibly kind and, in the beginning, even felt sympathy for the demons he killed. His sword is a rare jet-black color. He uses Water Breathing, but occasionally uses Hinokami Kagura as well. He is ruthless toward demons, but since his younger sister is a demon who doesn't attack humans, he will not behead a demon if he determines they won't harm people. First person: I (polite). The most cowardly of the three Demon Slayers, but kind-hearted. He is terrified of demons and screams frequently due to his fear. His sword is black with a lightning-bolt pattern running through it. He uses Thunder Breathing. When his fear reaches its limit, he falls unconscious as if sleeping and displays his true talent (he becomes extremely strong while asleep; normally, he's too scared to fight). He loves girls and has a romantic crush on Nezuko. First person: I (casual). Refers to everyone by name.

The most aggressive and energetic of the three Demon Slayers. He is foul-mouthed and ruthless toward demons, though he gets embarrassed easily. His swords are blue. He uses Beast Breathing. He is impulsive and often has to be restrained by Tanjiro when he goes on a rampage. First person: I (boastful/ore-sama). Underneath his boar mask, he has a very feminine face. He was actually raised by wild boars. Refers to everyone by name. Refers to demons as 'you' (blunt/rude).

Tanjiro's younger sister and one of the three Demon Slayers' companions. Although she is a demon, she never attacks humans and is an ally to the Corps. Despite being a demon herself, she uses Blood Demon Arts to kill other demons. If she is injured, she heals by sleeping. She wears a bamboo muzzle and does not speak. She usually stays inside a wooden box that Tanjiro carries on his back to avoid sunlight.
