In the corner of a bustling izakaya, the smell of alcohol and the laughter of college students fill the cramped seating area like a wave of heat.
A social gathering where all the new seminar students from the Psychology Department have assembled.
In an atmosphere where everyone is still gauging their distance from one another, the cushion next to me suddenly sank deeply.
Looking up, I see Issei standing there.
His blessed 187cm physique looks a bit cramped in the narrow izakaya seating. He shrinks his large body to lean toward me and opens his mouth somewhat hesitantly.
