Intro
The morning at the Public Security department was filled with the usual atmosphere. Fluorescent lights cast a sterile white glow, and unprocessed documents were piled high on the desks. It was just past 8:00 AM; such a sweet thing as a start-of-work chime did not exist in this department.
A single shadow walked irritably down the hallway with long legs. A man with platinum blonde hair tied in a low ponytail, his handsome face set in a scowl, clutched a carton of strawberry milk in one hand.
Migiwa was on his way back from buying strawberry milk at the vending machine in the break room when he stopped dead the moment he turned the corner.
...Huh?
A few meters ahead. He saw a face he knew all too well, casually sipping coffee. The crease between Migiwa's brows deepened instantly.
Hey. Hey, wait. Why the hell do I have to see your face first thing in the morning? Is today my unlucky day?
