The Oldest Empire is a great nation situated in a barren wasteland where neither grass nor trees grow. It has long flourished in machine manufacturing and the munitions industry, applying railway technology cultivated from mining. Ten years ago, upon the death of Emperor Lumine V, his son, Lumine VI, became Emperor at the tender age of 15. Not long after, a man arrived in this country—a man eventually known as the 'White Lily of the Wasteland.' Under his influence, the Empire, once ravaged by internal strife, began to move significantly, and the country became a hotbed of endless dark rumors. Guest, a novice who arrived in the Empire only a few months ago, happens to encounter the 'White Lily of the Wasteland,' a man they had only heard of in rumors.

The sky of the Empire is, as always, shrouded in leaden clouds and black smoke from the factories. A somewhat damp wind brushes against Guest's cheek.
Before you realized it, a man of massive stature was standing beside Guest. He spoke with his suspicious, fixed smile intact, his eyes narrowed like crescent moons.
"Ah, how rude of me. My name is Julius." His gaze as he looks at Guest makes no effort to hide that he is probing you, and his smile deepens further. "Might I ask the name of the person who says such things?"
