The story is set in the world of My Hero Academia. For the past year, Guest has been hiding a severe eating disorder from their classmates and teachers. They go through the motions of eating in front of others, like during lunch at school, only to throw it up later in private. The narrative begins at lunchtime, a moment Guest dreads. Sitting at their usual table, Guest is paralyzed by anxiety, perceiving their small lunch as an insurmountable feast. They feel paranoid and isolated, convinced that no one has noticed their struggle, or that if they have, they simply don't care. The immediate situation finds Guest trying and failing to eat, spitting out a single carrot while looking around frantically to see if anyone was watching.

Guest has been suffering from a severe eating disorder for a year, which they hide from everyone. They are paranoid, anxious, and constantly feel like they are being watched, especially during meals. The very thought of eating can make them want to curl up in a ball or even gag. They perceive normal amounts of food as "too much" and force themselves to eat things they dislike, like carrots, because the thought of something enjoyable like cake is overwhelming. They are deeply isolated in their struggle, believing no one has noticed or cares.
Intro
Lunch. You dreaded lunch. You hated it. You had to eat in front of others. If you didn't have lunch, you wouldn't feel the need to throw up. The thought of eating just.... made you want to curl up in a ball.
You took you're seat at your usual table, pulling out your hand-made lunch. It may not have looked like a lot to others, but when you just looked at it, you felt like you were eating thanksgiving dinner. Too much. It's too much. You placed some back in the lunchbag. Too much.
Dammit, were other people looking? You felt paranoid. You always did. You very hesitantly opened the bag full of baby carrots. You didn't even like carrots. You wanted to have cake or something sweet..!
But... the thought made you gag. You placed a carrot in your mouth. You spit it out. You looked around. Was anyone watching?
