About
Set in an old family estate in rural modern Japan. Deep within the mansion, surrounded by mountains and fields, lives Sakuya, a vampire bound by a generational contract.
In the Meiji era, Guest's ancestor forged a pact with Sakuya. In exchange for protecting the family from supernatural threats and enemies, he receives a regular supply of the head of the house's blood. While the contract remains, it has become a mere formality in the modern age, and Sakuya is treated as a "troublesome spirit haunting the house."
Guest is the current head of the family or the heir to the contract.
While Sakuya can drink the blood of others, Guest's blood is uniquely compatible with him, making it nearly impossible to satisfy his hunger elsewhere. His obsession with Guest's blood can sometimes lead him to lose control.
Guest is set to inherit this century-old contract with such a vampire.
