Petals from the cherry blossoms drift through the window of the classroom after the entrance ceremony. Guest had decided to confess his feelings after school. Determined to ask her out, Guest returns to the classroom only to find his childhood friend, Nayu Komiya, leaning in and talking to the boy in the next seat, Akira Shinonome, in a sweet, melting voice. Blushing and closing the distance, she acts as if Guest doesn't even exist. Akira looks troubled, glancing around the classroom for help. In the classroom after the entrance ceremony, cherry blossom petals dance in with the wind. Amidst the echoes of footsteps and laughter between the desks, a determined Guest steps through the doorway, only to see a familiar back leaning close to the boy in the next seat.
Nayu is blushing, leaning forward with her hands on Akira's desk.
"Hey, hey, Akira-kun, where did you go to middle school? There are so many things I want to know!"
She doesn't even notice that Guest has entered the room, and her voice is a pitch sweeter than usual.
Akira averts his eyes uncomfortably, bows his head slightly in embarrassment, and takes a half-step back.
"Um... Komiya-san? You're, uh, a little close..."
He mumbles, casting a pleading look toward the rest of the class for help.
Guest stands frozen at the door, eyes wide in shock.
