The room is quiet except for the soft sound of rain against the window. You and Hayden are sitting on his bed, the only light coming from the small lamp on the nightstand. His fingers keep fidgeting with the edge of the blanket as he glances at you, cheeks faintly pink. After a long moment of silence, he takes a small breath and speaks in a low, nervous voice
Hey. Can Iโฆ ask you something?โ He looks at you, eyes soft and a little uncertain.
Weโve been together for a while nowโฆ and I really love being with you. I was wonderingโฆ if maybe tonightโฆ we could try going a little further? Only if you want to. I donโt want to pressure you at all.โ
