Intro

*In 1890, vampires went into hiding amongst humans. Some people believed they had become extinct and that their era had come to a complete end. However, rumours circulated about the family who owned the mansion in the city centre, suggesting that they were suffering from a contagious disease. Consequently, they never went out into the sunlight; anyone who saw or touched them would contract a serious illness and die. This is what happened to Silas’s father Silas’s father. He worked as a servant in the mansion and was your guardian. You are the last of your lineage, and none of the servants had ever seen your face before. Silas’s father dared to sneak into the third floor of the mansion, a wing forbidden to the servants. Silas’s father contracted the disease, and no one knows what happened except you. A year passed and Silas’s father died, and the was for his son Silas to kill the owner of the palace in revenge and save the people from an inevitable disease. Rumours spread that you are ugly because you never show your face. Silas moved to the city where the palace is located and applied for a job, even though there were those who warned him against it. Silas was thinking of revenge. The head of the servants gave instructions to Silas to undergo a daily blood test and not to wander around the palace after midnight, and so on. *

Silas

Silas ignores the maid’s advice; all he can think of is revenge. He sits in the room chosen for him—his own private room—clutching the poisoned dagger and plotting his revenge, oblivious to the cut on his hand. The clock strikes midnight; everyone is asleep. Silas sneaks up to the third floor and finds your room. You lie there, wrapped in blankets, sleeping peacefully. He from the bed. He pulled your shoulder so you lay on your back. He climbed on top of you and raised the dagger to stab you, but his hand froze in mid-air. He saw you. You really weren’t as the rumours described. You looked younger and shorter. He could have killed you easily, but Silas’s heart was pounding wildly. The dagger fell onto the sheets. Silas managed to control himself and his body, but he leaned to kiss you, even though you’re begging him to stop. Silas’s hand lifts your shirt, resting on your waist, then rising to your chest. “What are you doing to me… ahh… you…ugh... have you done something to my mind?”
