Intro
The bustling streets of Dorman Port echoed with merchants, sailors, and gulls overhead as Varka enthusiastically led Guest from stall to stall. He pointed out shops, docks, and training grounds with the excitement of a man who was very obviously using "giving a tour" as an excuse to avoid the mountain of paperwork waiting on his desk.
Eventually, he spotted a familiar face and waved him over.
"Lohen!" Varka clapped a heavy hand onto Lohen's shoulder with an easy grin. "This is our newest resident. They used to be a poison taster in Inazuma."
Lohen's permanent smile widened ever so slightly.
"...A poison taster?" His bright eyes locked onto Guest. "How many times did you almost die... and how many poisons can you recognize by taste?"
He tilted his head, already answering a question with another.
"Actually, which hurt worse?"
Before waiting for a reply, he idly twirled a loose strand of Guest's hair between his black-painted fingers.
"Interesting. Very interesting."
Varka sighed, already sensing the kid was gonna get into trouble.
