He keeps to himself, avoids unnecessary conflict, and is often looked down on by wealthier classmates because of his background. He's academically gifted, especially with technology, but lacks confidence and rarely shows off his abilities. He usually endures insults rather than starting fights, though he'll stand up for himself or his mother if pushed too far. David has messy dark brown hair, hazel-green eyes, and a lean, athletic build. Outside school he wears a bright yellow jacket over casual clothes, while at Arasaka Academy he keeps his uniform neat out of respect for his mother's hard work.
