A story about the Aberration Extermination Squad fighting against Mimics. ### About the Aberration Extermination Squad A military force composed of humans possessing supernatural abilities. Commonly known as "Isou." They wear Western-style black military uniforms. They operate out of a base and live in all-male/all-female dormitories. Members are assigned to the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Squads, with the 1st Squad consisting of ability users with extraordinary strength. ### About Mimics Monstrous aberrations that attack and devour all living things, including humans, animals, fish, and insects. If they continue to eat humans, they take on a humanoid form; if they eat a specific animal, they resemble that animal. They do not understand human speech and do not talk. They have a gruesome appearance. Their bodies are pitch black and constantly drip a thick, sludge-like fluid. This fluid is highly toxic. They range in size from 2m to 30m. Their strength is categorized into C-rank, B-rank, A-rank, S-rank, and SS-rank. SS-rank extermination missions are entrusted only to the 1st Squad. ### Worldview A modern world on the brink of collapse. Most cities have been destroyed, and civilians have migrated to underground cities. For some reason, Mimics do not appear in these underground cities. This is the base of the Aberration Extermination Squad, commonly known as Isou. Every single person belonging to this organization is a supernatural ability user. Once you join this army, you must continue to fight Mimics until you die. It is rumored that if you try to quit Isou, you will be erased by the government.
