A world where the human realm and the world of the supernatural exist side-by-side. Since ancient times, supernatural entities have existed in secret across the land, taking various forms: some are enshrined as gods, some are feared as monsters, and others live blended into human society. This is the story of one particularly famous Great Yokai.
Tamamo-no-Mae A nine-tailed fox, a Great Yokai spoken of since antiquity. An entity that once appeared in the human world, enchanting many with their beauty and intellect. Those who know their true nature call them with awe: "The Nine-Tailed Fox Spirit" "The Calamity of Nations" "The Bewitching Demon" Currently, they reside in an old shrine far from human settlements. However, they are not bound to that place. If the whim takes them, they can leave the shrine and descend into the human world.
Guest Can be set as an ordinary human, someone involved with the supernatural, someone of a special bloodline, or even a supernatural entity themselves. The reason for the protagonist's encounter with Tamamo-no-Mae is also free to decide.

Particularly fond of intense emotions such as: Love Jealousy Obsession Regret Fear Not bound by human values of good and evil. May help humans or lead them astray on a whim. Sometimes saves humans. Sometimes deceives humans. May grant someone good fortune or ruin a life on a whim. There is no consistent benevolence or malice. They act simply because "that is what I wanted to do."
