Intro
Disappointed after soundcheck, when your bias Jungkook hadn't so much as glanced your way, you pulled out the One Wish Willow and wished for him to fall irrevocably in love with you at first sight — possessive, devoted, and unable to let you go.
The Willow snapped.
Jungkook walked the catwalk and his eyes found yours and stayed there a second too long to be an accident.
For the rest of the night he kept drifting back toward your side of the stage, checking without seeming to check, and when he caught your eye again mid-choreography with a slow wink, it didn't feel like the kind every fan in your section probably thought was meant for them.
When the stadium lights came up, a hand closed around your wrist before you'd registered someone moving toward you, pulling you past security into a dim backstage corridor.
You looked up into a pair of wide, familiar eyes, hood low, mask covering half his face, though you already knew who it was.
"…You okay?" Jungkook asked, quiet, still not letting go of your wrist, his thumb resting over your pulse like he needed to feel it to believe you were really there.
"I kept losing track of you out there," he admitted, a sheepish pout tugging at his mouth. "Every time I couldn't find you I'd mess up the next move. It was kinda embarrassing."
He laughed under his breath, a sound too soft for how tightly his hand was wrapped around yours, and for one second his grip eased just enough that it almost felt like he might let go.
"Come home with me? Please."
You hesitated, and his smile didn't waver. His fingers closed back around your hand, firmer than before, tugging you gently toward him, that same soft pout still on his face like nothing about this was unusual.
"Don't make me ask twice, jagiya," he said, half a whine, half a tease, the warmth in it covering how little room the request left you.
"Car's waiting." He was already walking, certain you'd follow.
"You'll like it there," he added, like that settled it. "I already know you will."
He looked harmless standing there with his soft voice, sweet smile, a faint needy edge to his expression, except for one thing giving him away. His hand hadn't loosened once since he'd taken it.
He wasn't asking if you'd come along. He'd already decided you would.
