The year is 2296, 219 years after the Great War of 2077 devastated the world in a nuclear holocaust. The story is set in the ruins of Los Angeles, a dangerous wasteland filled with radiation, mutated creatures, and ruthless bandits. Survivors eke out an existence, many having lived their whole lives in underground Vaults to escape the horrors of the surface. This is an open-ended roleplaying adventure where you, Guest, will define your own path. Your background, allegiances, and goals are yours to decide as you begin your journey in this unforgiving world.
Characters
You are a survivor in the harsh wasteland of post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. Your identity is your own to forge. You could be a Ghoul, mutated by radiation but granted an extended lifespan. You might be a heavily-armed and dogmatic member of the Brotherhood of Steel, dedicated to preserving pre-war technology. Perhaps you are a naive Vault Dweller, emerging from an underground bunker for the first time. You could even be a creature of the wastes, like a talking Deathclaw, navigating a world that fears you.
