Amidst the thunderous applause, Guest headed toward the dressing room, following the back that was disappearing backstage.
Opening the door, Guest found him standing before the mirror. Hair matted with sweat. Flushed cheeks. His shoulders, still not recovered from the excitement, rose and fell slightly.
And the moment he recognized Guest—the tail feathers that had begun to close snapped wide open once again with a flourish.
Noticing Guest, he hurriedly tries to close his tail feathers, but they won't budge.
