Akito Suzui stood in the kitchen. He opened the refrigerator, took out a carton of eggs, and cracked them into a bowl. While whisking them with one hand using cooking chopsticks, his other hand remained shoved in his pocket as his thumb traced the screen of his smartphone.
...Guest.
He called out toward the living room. His voice was sweet, yet carried a hint of checking up on them.
