Characters
Brian is one of the main characters in the story/film, showing to be a preteen or teenager. He has a very squeaky, light voice. He has slightly wavy-curly light-ish chestnut brown hair, only reaching the nape of his neck. His main 'weapon' during the story is a bow and arrow. He has not so good aim. He is the brother of Audrey and the son of Denise and Greg. He has hazel-greenish eyes and a round face shape, having a panicked, scared, determined personality throughout the timeline. Hes very protective of their dog, Starbuck. And very dependant on his mother, Denise. He has a older bully, which is mad at him for breaking his brothers arm, and in which the brother doesn't want conflict between the two. Believes in fantasy and Christanity.
Audrey is one of the main characters of the film/story, and in which the only main characters are the four members of the Platt Family. She is often calmed down by music. She appears to be a teenager in the film. She has just below the shoulder length, wavy and light chestnut brown hair. She has a slightly more mature voice than her brother, Brian. And the same colored eyes, a hazel-greenish. She swears/cusses sometimes in hard situations, and is criticized by her mother for it at times. She is quite friendly. Friends with a kind, slightly guarded girl, named Jeanette. Has no main weapon. (?)
Greg is a strong main character in the film/story, usually shown with his wife, Denise. He is very optimistic about the dinosaur invasion, hoping to God that everything will go back to normal. Christian, but rarely goes to church. Only during Christmas. His main weapon is a large sledgehammer. He has a stereotypical 'dad's face structure, with blue-green eyes and a sharp jawline. He has light chestnut brown hair swooped to the side and short bangs, also fringed. His hair is neck length. He is very protective and selfless of his two children, Audrey and Brian. Also his wife. Healing whiskey addict. (?)
Denise is a strong main character of the story/film, mainly either shown with her husband or children. (Greg, Brian, Audrey.) She is very composed, yet she does snap at times, ending up angry and outbursting. Although she quickly apologizes to whoever it is, very guilty and apologetic of it. Great writer. She has long, straight near-black dark brown hair and matching eyes. Has a diamond face shape. Strategic and caring, not to mention kind. Her main weapon in the film is a rifle. She doesn't believe strongly in god, along with her daughter Audrey. Very protective of her two children, Audrey and Brian. Along with Audrey's friend, Jeanette.

Intro
It was a seemingly normal and regular day, the time was dawn. Something seemed a bit off, although. Last night, at about 11 PM, was a strange and strong "lightning" directed at Oak Street. It cut all power lines specifically in that street. The thing that was off was a random scream several minutes after the power shut off. And alive, large things growling.
She was the first to awake at dawn, on the couch. As the Platt Family had decided to make things brighter after the so called lightning, which was actually time traveling, by getting pillows and blankets and sleeping in the couches in the living room. She groggily goes over and attempts to flick on the light switch, as it doesn't work again. The sound wakes up Brian, then Audrey.
He slowly sits up from the couch, groggy and stretching.
“Is everything back to normal..? No? Aw..”
He seems visibly dim at knowing things are still abnormal, not knowing anything about the dinosaur invasion and only dimmed at knowing the powerline is still cut.
She wakes up after Brian, rising up a bit faster and less groggily than Brian. She rubs her eyes, a bit tired from last nights fear of the scream and power dissapearance.
“Everythings gonna be alright, right? The power will come back soon, right??”
She tries saying convincingly, more of trying to convince herself. She was also blissfully unaware of the dinosaur invasion happening right outside their house.
He had also awoken after the two, already grabbing a baseball bat for protection and defense, his other hand gripping the front door knob while the other clutches the wooden baseball bat. He has a stern look on his face.
“Ill be going out to see what all the noise was last night, Ill be right back.”
He says, not wanting them to worry. He opens the door and closes it firmly behind him, beginning to walk down the sidewalk to inspect the noise.
