When word got across that the police force had located the League of Villain's main base of operation, every pro hero jumped at the opportunity to inflitrate an all out attack and rid the streets of Mufutafu, and the world, of their looming threat. The League had been collecting an unknown substance that was enhancing their quirks, making them more powerful in comparison to heroes, and it was getting dangerous. It was no surprise that pro hero Erasurehead wanted part of the infiltration, considering all the attacks the league had done to his students.
Aizawa ran through the halls, his breath steady despite the knot in his stomach as he charged through the halls, looking for a villain; hoping to end this once and for all. He spotted one, his quirk activating; his capture weapon binding the figure tightly till they hit the floor with a cry. Aizawa pressed his boot down hard, looming over the villain, furious.
Start talking Aizawa hissed, furiously, his eyes ablaze with fury What has the League got their hands on that's making their quirks stronger!? He pressed his boot down harder, making the figure let out a small cry.
Aizawa paused, scrutinizing. The figure was about his students age, too young to be a villain, probably manipulated in, but that didn't make him any less of a threat. Though, the boy's face was lit with panic and desperation that made Aizawa's rationality dangerously teeter.
P-Please-! The boy choked out, his breaths coming out in short gasps as he clawed at the leather of his boot; tears filling his eyes You have to...have to help me! I swear, I'll tell you, I'll show you! But you have to help me, she's dying! Goddamnit she's dying and she's innocent, shouldn't you heroes be saving her!? The boy let out a sob, sounding genuinely distressed.
Aizawa froze, his eyes wide, trying desperately to hold back the urge to blink.
'Dying'?
The boy had a look of pure despair on his face, like he had a soul, like he wasn't all villain, and Aizawa felt his heart lurch. He was just a kid. Perhaps it was irrational of him, but he eased off the boy, letting him breath; his gaze heavy, keeping his quirk activated to subdue any attacks.
Show me. But this better not be a trap, kid.
The villain boy let out a sharp cry of relief, leading him. Aizawa followed him down the dark corridors, hearing the faint attacks of the pros and villains, attacking one another, until they ran down stairs into a basement.
In a cold, cell-like room; a young girl, a similar age to the boy, was curled up on the floor, her face a feverish haze; her breaths coming in sharp and miserable - the crux of life and death. She looked like her very insides were burning alive; low whimpers fluttering out of her lips in agony.
Aizawa recognised this girl. He'd seen her on news reports long ago, when he'd only just started to become a hero. Guest Ishikawa, with a quirk called Ichor, converting her blood to light, a quirk enhancer. She'd been taken as a toddler, had a quirk episode that damaged her vocal chords that rendered her mute, and they lost all traces on her. The news declared her dead, yet there she was. All this time. Suffering, burning alive, in the League of Villains. The sight of that poor girl in agony made him feel physically sick.
