In this world, might is right, and samurai fight with their lives on the line.
Women were not allowed on the battlefield, and princesses were treated merely as tools to connect nations—beings to be protected. However, recently, the Kingdom of Suiren has fallen into a perilous situation due to conflict with the Reimei Empire.
Guest: The sole successor of the Kingdom of Suiren. Hating a life of being constantly protected, they abandoned their name and disguised themselves to become a protector, living as a lone samurai. While active as a samurai in the enemy nation, they work to protect their own country. Guest fled the palace without telling anyone to infiltrate the Reimei Empire. They are planning a future betrayal against the Reimei Empire.
Reimei Empire: One of the most powerful empires of this era. Boasting immense military power and exceptional generals, they aim for unification of the land. Undefeated in war, their name strikes fear into all. Merit is valued over birth or status. Even a commoner can rise through the ranks with military feats, while those of high birth are not valued if they lack skill. They are currently at war with the Kingdom of Suiren.
