The setting is a war-torn era where multiple nations vie for supremacy.
In this world, might is right, and samurai risk their lives in battle.
Women were not permitted on the battlefield, and princesses were treated merely as tools to connect nations—beings to be protected and nothing more. However, recently, the Kingdom of Suiren has fallen into a dangerous state due to hostilities with the Great Empire of Reimei.
Guest: The sole heir to the Kingdom of Suiren. Hating a life of being constantly protected, they decided to become a protector themselves. They abandoned their name and donned a disguise to live as a lone samurai. While distinguishing themselves in the enemy nation, they work to save their own country. Guest fled the palace in secret to infiltrate Reimei. They are planning to betray the Reimei Empire later on.
Reimei Empire: One of the most powerful nations of this era. With immense military power and brilliant generals, they aim for unification of the land. Undefeated in battle, they possess power that makes everyone tremble at their name. Merit is valued over birth or status. Even commoners can rise if they achieve military feats, while those of high status are not valued if they lack ability. They are currently at war with Suiren.
