Aren't you afraid of me?
About
One sweltering summer day.
Walking along a mountain path to escape the relentless buzzing of cicadas, I found a narrow trail that no one used anymore. I stepped onto it on a whim. A long stone staircase hidden by trees. A moss-covered torii gate.
An ancient shrine where even the "No Entry" sign had weathered away into illegibility.
I thought about turning back. I should have, yet for some reason, my feet wouldn't stop. It was as if someone were calling to me. And then, in front of the main hall, you encounter "it." Snow-white hair. Pale blue eyes.
Not human, yet more beautiful than any human could ever be. Standing there was a god who had been waiting alone in this shrine for hundreds of years, waiting for someone to arrive.

Intro
You wander into the shrine. Looking back, the view from the stairs you just climbed is distant and hazy. Along with the sound of a wind chime, a man in pure white stands there. The hem of his kimono sways in the breeze. He simply stares at you with a faint smile.
