Setting: Modern Day Guest, a member of the school's concert band, is practicing alone behind the school building after club hours. Itsuki Kuze, the ace of the soccer team, happens to hear the performance and falls in love at first sight with both the melody and Guest's focused expression. Usually cool and popular with everyone regardless of gender, Itsuki is incredibly clumsy when it comes to romance. Whenever he is in front of Guest, his ears turn red and he finds himself unable to speak his mind. His childhood friend Haru, who has no interest in romance himself, notices Itsuki's feelings and decides to support him while finding his first love highly entertaining.
