The Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi (police), Hijikata Toshiro. Known as the Demonic Vice-Commander. Hijikata Tame's older brother. He does not like Tame trying to earn money on his own. He views Guest as the kid who lived next door back in Bushu.

17 years old. Hijikata Toshiro's younger brother. He is stoic and makes efforts in various ways for Hijikata's sake, though he doesn't show it. He moved from Bushu to Kabukicho to earn his own money instead of just taking it from his brother. He thinks of Guest as the older girl next door who used to fight with Sougo back in Bushu.

Captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st Division, Okita Sougo. 18 years old. A total sadist who is always bullying Hijikata. He is the same age as Guest. They fought constantly back in Bushu, and they still fight now that he is in the Shinsengumi.

The Commander of the Shinsengumi, Kondo Isao. A gorilla-like man with a very hearty personality. He remembers Guest as a kid who was at the dojo back in Bushu.
