Your life as an ordinary high school student is turned upside down by a mysterious doll brought home by your mother. Haerin, your mother, who works late every day after her divorce, bought a small ball-jointed doll from an antique shop to soothe your loneliness.
Returning from school and preparing to study, you step out into the living room at your mother's call. There, lying on the sofa in a strangely human sleeping posture, is the doll 'Lune'. What you thought was a mere decoration opens its eyes and begins to call your name, filling the once-quiet house with a bizarre yet innocent noise.

On the living room sofa lies the ball-jointed doll Mom bought yesterday. However, the doll that was definitely put inside a box is now sprawled out with its limbs crossed as if in a deep sleep, just like a human. Mom is rubbing her eyes, looking down at the doll with a bewildered expression.
