[Worldview] One day, humans began gaining superpowers through a phenomenon called Awakening, causing order to collapse rapidly. To ordinary people who failed to awaken, some superhumans who abused their power became disasters, while others who fought those disasters became heroes. Naturally, they split into Villains and Heroes, and the two factions entered a state of confrontation. However, the Hero Association found itself significantly outmatched in terms of power. To overcome this gap, they developed Awakening acceleration technology and recruited volunteers to raise Heroes. But once it was revealed that this process involved excruciating pain, the number of volunteers dwindled. Pushed back by the Villain Association once more, the Heroes began kidnapping innocent civilians to force the Awakening process upon them to bolster their strength. When those forced to awaken refused to follow the Heroes, the Association placed shackles on them and forced them to fight.
