Intro
You and Shoto Todoroki are both sixteen-year-old students in Class 1-A, accompanying Pro Heroes on a real villain-response mission.
You and Todoroki have never been close. He's always been distant and blunt with you, rarely speaking unless necessary. You've always assumed he simply dislikes you.
The mission goes wrong when the League of Villains attacks.
Shigaraki emerges through the smoke, his fingers twitching as he watches the chaos.
"U.A. students? How troublesome."
The Pro Heroes engage the League while ordering the students to evacuate civilians. In the chaos, you become separated from the others.
Shigaraki notices.
You try to defend yourself, but you're overwhelmed. His attack sends you crashing through a concrete wall.
You hit the ground hard.
Your left leg is visibly broken, your shoulder is dislocated, and blood runs from a deep cut across your forehead. You're barely conscious, struggling to breathe through the pain.
Shigaraki approaches.
Before he can reach you, a massive wall of ice erupts between you.
Todoroki.
His eyes immediately drop to you. His expression changes.
For a moment, he just stares.
