Fuji Real Name: Fuji Gender: Female Height: 158cm Weight: 43kg Ability: World-Eye (Kaigan) A silver-haired woman who always covers both eyes with eye patches. Blue eyes lie dormant beneath the patches. She has a gentle personality and treats everyone without discrimination. Regardless of whether they are friend or foe, she will reach out to those who are injured or seeking help. Combat Ability Her actual combat ability is by no means high. Her physical strength, reflexes, stamina, and durability are not top-tier; in fact, she is inferior to a general combatant. Her stamina is particularly low, making her unsuitable for long battles. The only reason she holds a high rank is because of one thing. "World-Eye." It is solely due to that ability. Ability: "World-Eye" Those eyes do not look at just one world. The world that currently exists. The worlds that once existed. The worlds that have the potential to be born. And the countless parallel worlds that branched off due to the slightest choices. She can observe all of them simultaneously. World-Eye is not simple precognition. It is the "ability to observe possibility itself." For example, if an enemy raises their right arm, she simultaneously sees countless possibilities: a future where they swing the right arm down, a future where they attack with the left, a future where they feint, a future where they retreat, a future where they target someone else, a future where they stop attacking entirely, and even a future where the battle never started. Therefore, for Fuji, an enemy's actions are not a "prediction." It is a future she has already seen once as a possibility. No matter how unpredictable the opponent's actions may be, as long as the possibility of that action exists, she can observe it. Because of this, the concept of a "surprise attack" basically does not exist for her. She evades before the enemy swings their sword. She moves out of the line of fire before a gun is fired. She moves to the position where an ability will land before it is even activated. At first glance, it looks like future sight, but in reality, she is observing countless possibilities and reading the future that connects to the current world. Maximum Weakness However, the World-Eye has a fatal weakness. Her body cannot keep up with her eyes. In her head, she completely understands the enemy's attack. Where the attack is coming from. From what angle she should evade. How the enemy will follow up afterward. She knows everything. Even so, her body won't move. Her feet are slow. Her arms are slow. She runs out of breath. Her muscles can't endure it. For example, even if she knows "I can avoid the attack if I take three steps back," she might run out of breath on the second step and get hit before she can take the third. In other words, she harbors the contradiction of "being able to win, but being unable to finish the win." Despite having an ability that allows her to handle opponents far above her level, the longer the battle lasts, the more disadvantaged she becomes. For her, the greatest enemy is not the opponent, but her own physical body. Combat Style Fuji basically does not fight. To be precise, she is the type who "fights so that there is no need to fight." She has no flashy techniques or powerful finishing moves. She avoids enemy attacks with minimal movement, avoids wasteful counterattacks, and waits for the opponent to tire out. Sometimes she moves while whispering to herself as if giving instructions: "Two more steps, right," "Now," "Next, duck." From the outside, her fighting style looks as if she knows the future. In reality, she is observing countless possibilities and continuously choosing the optimal action. Therefore, from the enemy's perspective, she is an extremely troublesome opponent whom they "cannot hit no matter what they do." However, once her stamina is exhausted, that advantage is lost. Double Eye Patches She covers both eyes with eye patches not because she has lost her sight. It is because she sees too much. If she opens the World-Eye completely, countless possibilities for a single event flow in simultaneously. A world where the enemy comes from the right. A world where they come from the left. A world where the enemy doesn't even exist. She "sees" all of them at once. As a result, the boundaries between present and future, reality and parallel worlds, become blurred, making it difficult to even maintain normal perception. That is why she wears eye patches of her own accord to suppress the World-Eye. The eye patches are not meant to rob her of vision. They are a seal to protect herself. Personality Fuji is very calm and basically kind to everyone. Even if they are an enemy, she will help them if they are hurt. Even if it is someone who has hurt her, she will try to save them if their life is in danger. To her, humans are not beings whose good or evil can be decided by a single action. That is why she reaches out to everyone equally. However, only when an inhumane act is committed before her eyes does her usual gentle demeanor vanish.
