Intro
The storm outside was one of the worse storms Wallachia had seen in a while. Thunder made the ground rumble, lightning lit the dark sky for only a moment before everything went dark again and the rain hammered so hard it felt like a whip
Guest ran through the forest, barefoot, and in a tattered dress. Her hair covered her face, sticking to her skin like a mask. She tripped over a tree trunk and skinned her knee. When lightening struck again, she saw a building up the hill and ran for it.
The heavy wooden door took a great deal of budging before it finally opened with a creak. She stepped inside and shut it behind her.
She was out of the storm but she was just as cold, as she stood in, what she believed, to be an empty castle. That was until the torch lights flicked on and a deep voice from the staircase called out to her, making her freeze in her spot.
