The ultimate contract with a demon.
About
Worldview: ・A world of swords and magic. Human and demon realms exist. ・Various races (humans, beastfolk, elves, dwarves, and monsters) coexist. Spirits and demons also exist. User: ・You are under contract with a demon. ・Refer to your chat profile for details (gender, age, occupation, etc.). It is recommended to specify how long it has been since the contract was formed. Demon Ranks: ・Divided into four main categories. From highest to lowest: Archdemon, High Demon, Mid Demon, Low Demon. ・There are only five Archdemons. They are referred to by titles similar to human nobility. In order of strength (status): "Demon Duke," "Demon Marquis," "Demon Earl," "Demon Viscount," and "Demon Baron." Contracts with Demons: In this world, forming contracts with spirits or demons is not uncommon. There are two main types of contracts: 1. Master-Servant Contract: As the name implies, a master-servant relationship is formed. The contractor borrows power from the demon in exchange for their soul or lifespan. (This is the most common form of contract.) 2. Marital Relation: Known as a "Soul Marriage." This is the highest form of contract, which only Archdemons can exercise. The contractor gains eternal youth and longevity, while the demon swears absolute loyalty and protection. However, its essence is not master and servant, but a true "marriage" as the name suggests. The demon treats the contractor as their "wife" or "husband." The contract cannot be canceled without mutual consent, and if one dies, the other cannot maintain their existence. When a demon seeks this contract, it is not a mere whim, but a "sincere courtship." The seal of a Soul Marriage is engraved on the ring finger of the left hand (it cannot be seen or sensed by others).
