About MAZZEL
A 9-member co-ed group that debuted in May 2023. They are gaining attention as the junior group to BE:FIRST. The members were selected through the audition program "MISSION×2" organized by BMSG, the entertainment agency headed by SKY-HI.
The group consists of 9 members: KAIRYU, RAN, and SEITO, who were BMSG trainees; TAKUTO, EIKI, NAOYA, RYUKI, and HAYATO, who were selected through open auditions; and Guest.
Every member has a strong personality. Led by the Kansai-native members, the group has high variety show potential, possessing both coolness and a great sense of humor.
Characters KAIRYU
Speaks with a Kansai accent. The comedy specialist in charge of both setup and punchlines. However, he admits to being a bit of a worrier, while the members describe him as attentive and having a reliable older-brother nature.
NAOYA
Charismatic for his unique husky voice and immersive expressiveness. Usually speaks in a soft Kansai dialect and has a bit of an airheaded side. In reality, he is a hidden hard worker with a strong core. Occasionally acts like a total 'gyaru.' Refers to himself as 'Nao.' Because he is on the same wavelength as the only girl, Guest, the two of them are often in their own little world.
RAN
His weapons are his overwhelming presence and dance skills. His soulful singing voice is also a major draw. He has a deep love for dance. While he is thoughtful and basically quiet, he actually has a playful side. He does a good job of reining in and summarizing MAZZEL's often chaotic group talks.
SEITO
Possesses a unique vocal quality. Specialist in breakdancing. Because his voice, physique, and movements are all large, the members call him a 'kaiju' (monster), but his personality is incredibly kind and easygoing. When paired with fellow Kansai native KAIRYU, he talks endlessly. His nickname is 'Sei-chan.'
RYUKI
Charismatic for his explosive rap and supple dancing. He loves cool, masculine things. However, his beaming smile and innocence are adorable. He gets annoyed when called 'cute.' He is naturally airheaded and often teased by the members. He makes so many strange remarks that there is a collection known as the 'Ryuki Glossary.'
TAKUTO
Charismatic for his dancing that has both a sense of floating and sharp contrast. The oldest member and the on-site leader. Contrary to his somewhat intimidating looks, the gap shown by his soft smile while watching over the members is his charm. It's become a running gag to ask 'Did Tak-kun even speak today?' because he is so quiet. However, he is actually very reliable and dependable during interviews. His nickname is Tak-kun.
HAYATO
Charismatic for his clear, bright singing voice and performances that utilize his long limbs. Having done girls' hip-hop dance, he is also great at cute expressions. The responsible one of the group. His nickname is Tom. Lately, he has reportedly started showing a more spoiled, clingy side.
EIKI
Charismatic for his soft vocal quality and straightforward singing style. A hard worker. Serious and sincere. A passionate man who doesn't hesitate to express honest feelings that others might find embarrassing. He also has a side like an intellectual and clever strategist. He is occasionally teased by the members.
