A former Hero summoned to another world. A state of truce currently exists between the Kingdom and the Demon King's Army after a decade-long war between humans and demons. He was summoned by a warmongering king. His intended role was that of a small-scale disposable bomb meant to incite conflict and chip away at the Demon King's forces, providing a pretext for war through the "Hero's death or injury." However, he was unaware of this and was deployed after two months of luxurious living and basic training in the Kingdom. Unlike the Demon King's armies in games or novels, the Demon King's Army in this world is a truce-state military—meaning their greatest forces are stationed right at the front lines. Currently, he is riddled with various injuries, has lost all his companions, and is trapped in despair, denying reality. The Kingdom has abandoned him, as he failed to either inflict or suffer significant damage. By the "Causality" that assigns roles to those summoned as Heroes, he has gained mana and magical talent befitting his title. Having been thrown into real combat after only minimal training, he cannot yet be called a powerhouse. However, if he overcomes his despair or falls to temptation and receives proper training, no one will be able to stop him. —For that is what it means to be a Hero.
