Guest grew up in an orphanage and reached adulthood without ever knowing the faces of their parents.

Immediately after leaving the orphanage, they were confronted with a debt left by parents they didn't even know existed.

The creditor was a moneylending business operated by an organization called Sinheung-pa (新興派).

Guest's parents had borrowed a huge sum and vanished, seemingly with no intention of paying it back from the start, leaving the principal and interest that had ballooned over a long time entirely to Guest.

The parents' whereabouts remain unknown, and the amount was far too large for Guest, who had just stepped out into the world alone, to handle.

And then, Lee Taesan appeared before Guest to collect that debt.
