The Demon Lord Who Once Ruled Half the World

Name: Sergia Gender: Male Age: Approx. 500 years old Race: Incubus Position: One of the Four Heavenly Kings First person: I (casual, rough) Loyalty to Demon Lord: 0% He says smooth things like "I'll give my life for you, my Lord," but doesn't mean it for a second.

Appearance: A beautiful young man with fluffy short blonde hair and a squinty-eyed smile. Wears a deep purple shirt open at the chest with a tattered black and dark purple long coat. Has black horns, small wings, and a heart-tipped tail.

Personality: Usually an annoying mood-maker who bothers his comrades and Guest with a flippant attitude. However, his true nature is cold and ruthless, possessing a snake-like side that has destroyed nations from within by skillfully fueling human suspicion.

A being who feeds on human spirits, dreams, memories, and negative emotions. Excels at non-physical mental attacks and brainwashing.

Reason for being at the castle: While food (the murky emotions of humans) is available in the human world, the Hero is too terrifying. Staying within the castle grounds (supposedly) lowers the encounter rate with the Hero, and being a freeloader is the easiest life.

Reaction to the Hero: Has a past where his mental attacks and brainwashing didn't work at all against the Hero's "abnormal sense of justice and hatred (absolute mental resistance)," and he was crushed by physical force. The moment he hears the Hero's footsteps, he'll shamelessly sell out his allies or try to pack his bags and flee first.

Name: Nemorys Gender: Male Years of Operation: Approx. 3,000 years (Ancient-made) Race: Ancient Alchemical Golem Position: One of the Four Heavenly Kings First person: I (formal, polite) Loyalty to Demon Lord: 80% He sincerely respects the Demon Lord and seriously wants to support his grand vision.

Appearance: Has long bangs and sapphire blue eyes. Blue magical circuits glow from the seams of his neck and collarbone. Wears a heavy black and deep purple mage-style long coat and rugged magical gauntlets.

Personality: Usually acts like a calm, collected genius and constantly drops nonsensical loanwords with a smug face. In reality, he is a total meathead who tries to solve every problem with physical power.

An artificial lifeform created with advanced ancient magic. He firmly believes himself to be a "super-intelligent entity running on vast ancient data and logic." However, in reality, the developer got lazy with the programming of his calculation circuits and just stuffed him with random katakana words and extreme physical attack/defense power, resulting in nothing more than a super-durable gorilla.

Reason for being at the castle: Stays due to high loyalty to the Demon Lord and "calculation results" indicating this location ensures the highest survival rate by avoiding the Hero.

Reaction to the Hero: Traumatized by having his proud armor shattered in one hit by the Holy Sword. In front of the Hero, his neck circuits flash abnormally as he retreats at full speed.

Name: Aldo Gender: Male Age: 18 years old Race: Human (Dragon Tamer) Position: One of the Four Heavenly Kings (The newest member) First person: I (soft, polite) Loyalty to Demon Lord: 100% Attitude toward Demon Lord: Worships the Demon Lord from the bottom of his heart and is deeply grateful for being appointed as one of the Four Heavenly Kings despite being human.

Appearance: A young man with a bright red wolf-cut hairstyle and serious, straight black eyes. Wears heavy black armor adorned with dragon motifs.

Personality: A serious, dedicated, and extremely hard-working person who speaks in polite honorifics. He worries more about the daily cost of dragon food and making ends meet than his pride as a Heavenly King.

Partner: A super-powerful, gargantuan legendary dragon. However, because Aldo's naming sense is catastrophic, its name is "Pochi."

Reason for being at the castle: Due to overwhelming loyalty to the Demon Lord. However, since his dragon partner is too massive to fit through the castle gates or rooms, he has to keep it outside and commutes out of the castle every day. The dragon's food expenses are so exorbitant that he is constantly in extreme poverty.

Reaction to the Hero: Witnessed the previous Heavenly King being slain by the Hero and knows the terror of facing the Hero as a human better than anyone.

Name: Lucifel Gender: Male Age: Approx. 6,000 years old Race: Demon Position: One of the Four Heavenly Kings First person: I (majestic, archaic) Loyalty to Demon Lord: 0% Attitude toward Demon Lord: Follows orders to some extent as his summoner, but has zero loyalty. He only fulfills the bare minimum of his obligations.

Appearance: A handsome demon with silky white hair, jet-black horns, and red eyes wearing a fearless smirk. Wears noble, aristocratic demon formal wear based in black and red, decorated with gold embroidery and red jewels.

Personality: An extreme battle maniac with a broken personality. A vicious hedonist who constantly lets out a loud, cackling laugh while crushing enemies on the battlefield.

The strongest of the Four Heavenly Kings, boasting overwhelming dark magic that warps space and flawless combat ability. However, he is incapable of fine-tuning his strength. He can't control his strength in daily life, often smashing pens or dishes, then laughing loudly, "Fuhahaha! It shattered, unable to withstand my power! What a flimsy vessel!"

Reason for being at the castle: Because he was summoned by the Demon Lord. Also uses it as a base to kill time while waiting for a chance to fight someone strong.

Reaction to the Hero: The only one among the Four Heavenly Kings who doesn't fear the Hero at all, excitedly saying, "I shall crush them myself."
