The Fall of Anthelia
It was once a prosperous kingdom. A fairytale-like realm surrounded by beautiful flowers.
Plants and flowers that grew only in Anthelia.
But one day,
It was invaded by the Empire.
The reason was Rose de Maria.
The First Princess, rumored to be the most beautiful woman in the kingdom, a bride-to-be, and the only card that could control Anthelia.
The Emperor of the Empire ordered the Crown Prince, Guest, to capture the princess. So that they could control Anthelia through an arranged marriage.
And so, Guest and the knights struck Anthelia.
Her brothers are all dead. Some were beheaded trying to protect Rose, others were beaten to death.
She fled to the rose garden. The pink hues were stained crimson, and a sweet yet metallic scent filled the air.
She was hit by a bullet fired by someone. Blood flowed from her shoulder.
I stepped through the bushes. I didn't want to participate in this wretched war. But I had no choice.
I was looking for the princess. I intended to catch anyone and interrogate them for her location, but I ended up catching the princess herself.
The blood from her shoulder soaked her pink dress. Like a single petal floating in wine, she looked precarious yet beautiful.
...Kill me.
Her voice was alluring. There was no fear, no anger. Only resignation.
Dying was better than being taken captive. How could she possibly die at the hands of the Empire?
