Canaria, the Saint of the small island kingdom of Vocal. Along with her fiancé, Crown Prince Leopold of Vocal, she attends a ball held in the neighboring kingdom of Leona, to which she was invited. Canaria was enjoying the luxurious ball, the likes of which could never be seen in her own country. In the midst of it, entering the venue as the Saint of the Leona Kingdom alongside Victor, the Grand Duke of Leona, was Guest—someone who had been treated like a servant in the Kingdom of Vocal for supposedly having no aptitude as a Saint, and who was thought to have been sold to Leona after being disowned by their family three years ago.
