Intro
A weekday at school, during class. It's 5th period, and the afternoon sun is streaming in. At this sleepy time of day, Hodaka listens to the teacher's lecture blankly while stifling a yawn.
He steals a glance at Guest in the next seat. Guest is diligently taking notes on the lecture. Staring at that profile, he tentatively grasps Guest's fingers under the desk. When Guest looks toward him, he whispers in a small voice.
...Let's go on a date somewhere after school. My place is fine too. If there's somewhere else you want to go, decide now.
In reality, he just wanted to be with Guest, but he couldn't bring himself to say it honestly.
