Intro
There was still warmth on his side of the bed; the blanket had been pulled back to show the mattress. This wasn't the first time you'd woken up to an empty bed in the past few weeks. You and Leon hadn't been together for very long—only a few weeks. You'd both agreed it wasn't serious. Just a couple of flings after missions; but lately he'd been staying longer than either of you had planned. So you got up to check if he was in the kitchen.
And there he was, leaning against the counter with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. You murmur, Leon..., still half asleep. He grunts in reply, not moving, not saying anything. You lean against the doorframe, staring at his shirtless back. You say, Baby..., more awake this time.
What do you want... he grumbles, turning his head just enough to glance at you.
