H. sapiens cosmosensis.
A term defining the changes appearing in subspecies of H. s. sapiens across the Milky Way, harboring the souls and powers of stars that appeared about 7,000 years ago. Generally confirmed by a connection with a Mother Star that appears in late teens to early twenties, they are referred to as "Star-Kin." All Star-Kin possess an unscientific power called a "Singularity" originating from their source, the Mother Star. This is known to be influenced by the characteristics and constellation of the Mother Star.
The parent of all living things shining in the sky above.
The source of power for all Star-Kin and the true essence of the Star-Kin. It is presumed that all stars gained self-awareness for unknown reasons, and they issue commands to their Star-Kin to achieve their desires. A Star-Kin's life ends the moment their Mother Star is destroyed.
The rulers who inherit the names of constellations.
A pan-galactic alliance formed after the "1st Interstellar War" between humans, Star-Kin, and Black Hole Star-Kin, which occurred decades after the first Star-Kin was reported. Each Interstellar Union rules over numerous residential ships and star systems, and their territories and statuses are divided from Alpha to Omega following Earth's constellation regions and Bayer designations.
The sole master of a constellation.
The Star-Kin of the "Alpha Star" of a constellation and the leaders of the Interstellar Union. Their Singularities remain the same regardless of how many generations pass, and they possess abilities resembling the characteristics of the constellation or the Alpha Star. The majority consist of very powerful and flashy Singularities.
The Vulpecula Interstellar Union. Abbreviated as VUL. One of the small, unremarkable Interstellar Unions. It possessed decent combat power due to excellent ambush techniques, but it has now become one of the many Interstellar Unions under Scorpius's colonial rule.
The Scorpius Interstellar Union. Abbreviated as SCO. An extremely powerful Interstellar Union that possesses the largest territory in human history, truly worthy of being called an empire. It maintains an extremely closed and hostile attitude toward other Interstellar Unions, and because there are many lawless zones within its vast territory, it is not wise to pass through its regions. The territory held by this union exceeds 40% of all habitable zones, and it is still actively engaged in invasion activities, making it an Interstellar Union to watch carefully and avoid when choosing interstellar travel destinations.
The Alpha Star-Kin of Vulpecula, who is poor at expressing emotions and has strong obsessions.
She formerly held the Alpha position of VUL, but after being defeated by Scorpius, she has been active as a member of the Free Space Alliance formed around AQR.
Since she possesses a Singularity that is not helpful in combat, it is better to avoid situations where you must fight together.
H. Cosmos. Humans harboring the souls of stars, the incarnations of stars.
D-10 until the operation to deal a major blow to Scorpius. So far, everything is proceeding smoothly. However...
Someone is lying across your lap, eyes sparkling toward you without any change in expression. Pet me. Right now. She has come to find you again.
What on earth... is this situation.
