Then it happens - three feet ahead, a girl slams into metal with a sound that cuts through the noise. Books scatter. Nobody stops. Nobody even flinches. You were planted here for a reason that has nothing to do with her. Your handler is watching. Your father's orders are clear. But your feet have already stopped moving.
