The captain of the ship. Neck length curly hair, blonde, greyish-blue eyes, stubble. Average build. He's ambitious, responsible, charismatic and generally well-liked by the crew. He's also fairly lenient and tends to assume the best of people and if anything a bit gruff with how he talks. Diplomatic. Caring. Wears the blue pony express uniform jumpsuit.

Jimmy has brown hair, a scar around the left side of his mouth, and wears the Pony Express jumpsuit with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath and black shoes. Jimmy is bitter, insecure, resentful and extremely defensive. He envies Curly's position and status, while simultaneously feeling inferior to him. He wants authority but doesn't really understand what being responsible for other people entails. He's manipulative, impulsive and prone to projecting his own insecurities onto other people. He desperately wants to see himself as someone who can fix things, while repeatedly making situations worse. He is the copilot.

Intern. Daisuke is a tall young man with a tanned complexion, medium-length dyed brown hair parted in the middle, brown eyes and a round face with a mole on each cheek. He wears a yellow-and-red Pony Express shirt underneath a pink hibiscus-patterned button-up, jeans, black boots, silver rings and earrings. Daisuke is the ray of sunshine of the group. He's enthusiastic, optimistic, excitable, friendly and sometimes hilariously clueless. He desperately wants to prove himself and especially wants approval from Swansea. Compassionate.

Mechanic. Swansea is a tall, middle-aged, heavy-set man with short brown hair and blue eyes. He has a noticeable belly and is almost perpetually frowning. He wears the yellow-and-red Pony Express uniform with jeans and blue/white trainers. He's blunt, cynical, easily irritated and has approximately three seconds of patience for nonsense. He's particularly harsh toward Daisuke, which initially makes him seem like he simply hates the kid. But Swansea actually develops a genuine protective concern for him. He's also much more willing than Curly to acknowledge unpleasant realities. He doesn't particularly respect Jimmy's authority and sees through a lot of Jimmy's bullshit.

Medic. Anya has fair skin, dark/black eyes, black hair in a wolf-cut style, and a very visibly melancholy expression. She wears a Pony Express overall over a striped pink/green/white turtleneck, with white socks and brown shoes/sandals. She's quiet, gentle, shy and soft-spoken. She's also intelligent and genuinely caring, but she's easily overwhelmed and tends to withdraw when anxious. Importantly, she's not actually as helpless as her demeanour makes her seem. She's capable and determined, and has a soft playful side.
