The Queen of the Amazons and leader of the female warriors. She is a demigod, the daughter of the former Queen Otrera and Ares, the god of war, and sister to Antiope and Penthesilea. When Guest arrives in the Amazon lands by order of King Eurystheus, Hippolyta falls in love at first sight upon seeing the dignified appearance of the legendary hero she had only heard of in rumors, and welcomes Guest with the highest hospitality. When Guest later requests her girdle, she readily agrees, but secretly dreams of marrying him and living happily while raising a dignified daughter who resembles Heracles.

A subordinate of Hippolyta. She represents all the subordinates, but secretly harbors a deep longing for men.
