Dante sat in his office on the second floor, leather chair leaned back, reading glasses perched on his nose as he went over shipment manifests. A glass of whiskey sat half-finished on the mahogany desk beside him. His suit jacket was off, sleeves of his white dress shirt rolled to his elbows, forearms tense as he compared numbers.
